Set 1

- Augusta controlled the set the rest of the way, winning 25-16.
 Set 2
- Montevallo responded in the second set with a fast start, jumping out to a 7-1 lead following a kill by Danielle Lee.
- Augusta tied the Falcons 11-11 following a three-point scoring run.
- Montevallo re-gained the lead 12-11 following a service error by the Jaguars. Montevallo extended its lead 18-12, following a kill from Hannah Fernandez.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1
- Montevallo jumped out to an early 6-1 lead over West Alabama following an error by the Tigers.
- West Alabama responded, tying the game 13-13. Montevallo re-gained the lead 15-14 following an error by the Tigers.
- Montevallo fell behind 20-19 to UWA. A three-point run, capped by a kill from Brioni Dixon, gave Montevallo a 22-20 lead over the Tigers.
- Montevallo, down 24-23, tied the game 24-24 following a kill from Dixon.
- Montevallo took a 26-25 lead over UWA late in the first set following a UWA error.
- Montevallo and UWA continued to battle, trading points down the stretch of the first set. UWA took the set 31-29 over the Falcons.

- After trading points early in the third set, Montevallo held an 8-3 lead over the Tigers following three service aces from Lee Tisch.
- Montevallo controlled the set the rest of the way, winning 25-21.
Set 4
- Montevallo fell behind to the Tigers 11-6 in the early goings of the fourth set.
- The Falcons were unable to gain control of the fourth set, falling 25-15.
Match Notes:Â Montevallo dropped the first two sets to the tournament hosts. In the third, Montevallo responded winning its only set of the match. West Alabama closed out the match with a fourth set victory to top the Falcons 3-1.

Evelina Teran were named to the All-Tournament team after their performances over the weekend. Dixon totaled 33 kills over the weekend and 13 total blocks, while Teran registered 35 kills and six total blocks.
