MONTEVALLO, Ala. — The University of Montevallo baseball team will conclude a busy weekend for Montevallo athletics as the Falcons will play their fourth game in three days when they host Lynn University on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 12 p.m. CT.  
 
QUICK HITTERS
 

• After having an 8-RBI game during the second game of the season, Davis Lott was key in Montevallo's 2-1 win over West Florida on Saturday, Feb. 15 as the senior delivered a go-ahead 2-run single in the bottom of the eighth. It was his first run-scoring hit since driving in three over two games against Trevecca on Saturday, Feb. 8.
• Gus Cunningham turned in a career performance against West Florida on Saturday, Feb. 15 as the senior tossed 6.0 innings of one-run baseball, while scattering four hits and striking out three. The performance was Cunningham's longest outing since tossing 6.0 innings against West Georgia on March 24, 2019.
• Even though this is baseball, Montevallo has been quite the rebounding team so far this season as the Falcons have won at least one game following a loss. UM dropped the first game of a series to Trevecca Nazarene before winning the next two. The Falcons dropped the first game to West Florida, before turning around and winning the next one.
• The only other time Montevallo has played on a Sunday this season, the Falcons knocked off Ohio Valley University, 16-3, on Feb. 2. UM's victory over the Scots was fueled by a 13-run bottom of the sixth inning.

 
SCOUTING THE FIGHTING KNIGHTS

• Lynn University is coming off a series victory at Miles with the Fighting Knights outscoring the Golden Bears, 31-4.
• Trevor Romeo paces the Lynn Fighting Knights with 17 hits through 10 games. Romeo is slashing .459/.524/.595 so far this season. However, Romeo isn't the only Fighting Knight with double-digit hits as Bryon Murray (13) and Luis Beltran (12) round out the trio.
