SOUTHAVEN, Miss - The University of Montevallo women's tennis team began their season on a high note with a sweeping victory over Gulf South Conference opponent Christian Brothers on Friday. 

The Falcons swept the doubles matches after Dorotea Hanzek and Mireia Turro won the first match 6-2 followed by a 6-4 victory in the next set by Eva Dirr and Amanda Gautreaux.  The team's dominance continued in their singles matches not dropping a one set to Christian Brothers.
 

NEXT UP: The Falcons look to continue their success against ranked opponent Harding University Saturday February 8 at 11:30 AM.
