Easterwood RBI's not enough for Falcons against AUM

MONTEVALLO, Ala - University of Montevallo softball team fell 16-8 to AUM on Saturday's game two of the trio against Auburn Montgomery. 

  Despite a big day from junior Sierra Easterwood who drove in runs on a home run in the second and a home run in the fifth.  The Cullman native went 2 for 3 at the plate which lead the Falcons in hits.  UM collected seven hits against the Warhawks despite losing

The winning pitcher for AUM was Bailie Barnes who lasted one and two-thirds innings.  In that time she allowed five hits and six runs while striking out two and walking zero.

Unfortunately junior Mabry Norris took the loss for University of Montevallo Falcons. She pitched one inning, allowing two hits and three runs while walking one.
