UM falls short after early AUM lead

MONTEVALLO, Ala - University of Montevallo softball team took a tough loss in the final game against the Auburn Montgomery Warhawks Saturday. 

The Falcons struggled to bounce back from an early AUM lead after the Warhawks hit a homerun in the first inning.  UM had a tough time getting any runs for the rest of the game ultimately resulting in the 7-0 loss

Freshman Fallon Groves and junior Caroline Pope led the Falcons at the plate where they both got a hit each. 

NEXT UP: The Falcons will be back in Motown of Friday March 6th for a GSC match up against Union.  Start time is scheduled for 6:00PM CST.
