HUNTSVILLE - The Falcons volleyball team found it tough sledding on the road, falling to Alabama-Huntsville 25-15, 25-20, 25-11 in a Gulf South Conference rematch of the Spring Championship. The Falcons slipped to 8-7 overall and 2-1 in the GSC, while UAH improved to 9-4 and 3-0.

Evelina Teran had 11 kills to lead Montevallo, while setter
Colton Thompson added 18 assists and libero
Casey Hendrixson finished with 15 digs.
UM struggled mightily on offense, hitting just .089 for the match. The Falcons had 27 kills on 101 attempts, while committing 18 errors. There were also four service errors and seven reception errors.
The Falcons will try to rebound on the home floor on Saturday afternoon as they take on Shorter University. Game time is 2 p.m. at Trustmark Arena.
