The Falcons have been struggling lately, losing five of the last six games since starting the season 3-1. On Tuesday, the Falcons dropped a 77-68 decision to the Delta State Lady Statesmen in Trustmark Arena. Senior guard
Kiya Sain led the Falcons with 18 points, six rebounds, and two steals. Junior
Jordan Jones added 17 points, two steals, and two rebounds to the Montevallo box score. Senior forward
Tiara McLeod was a pleasant bright spot on an otherwise dark day for the Falcons. In her first start of the season, she scored a season high 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
