MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The Montevallo men's lacrosse team extended its win streak to seven after notching a 13-11 victory over UAH at the Lacrosse Stadium, Saturday night. With the win the Falcons clinch the PBC Regular Season Championship, advancing to 8-4 on the season with a 5-0 conference record and are set to host a PBC Semifinal game on Wednesday, April 28th.
Montevallo's men's lacrosse unit came to the Lacrosse Stadium with one goal in mind, beating UAH for the second time in a year. UM was determined but UAH made it tough for the Falcons as they took the lead 4-3 by the end of the first quarter. The Chargers experienced the lead for the majority of the first half until a
Trevayne Hunter goal followed by a save from
Kyle Little secured the 7-7 tie at the halftime break.
A goal from
Jackson Neufeld gave the Falcons their first lead of the game followed by two straight UM goals to make a 10-7 lead. The Falcons started the fourth quarter ahead 11-9, and put the first goal of the period in the net to go up three scores (12-9). UAH worked hard to impede on the Falcon lead cutting it down to two points but UM survived the Chargers 13-11 to secure the team's seventh straight victory.

Connor Frederick who netted three goals with three ground balls.

Thomas Vaesen (2 G, 2 GB) who added two goals each. The Falcons also got contributions from
Chaiton Williams (G, CT, GB) and
Ryan Shea who added a goal a piece.
UP NEXT: The Falcons will take on the Lander University Bearcats in the final game of the regular season. First faceoff is set for Saturday, April 24 at 1:00 pm at the Montevallo Lacrosse Stadium.
