Brad Bowen named head strength & conditioning coach

MONTEVALLO - Brad Bowen, a native of Gardendale, Alabama, was named as the head of strength and conditioning, Associate Athletic Director for Facilities/Recreational Programs Ed Langham announced Thursday.

"I am super excited to help the athletes progress, and to initiate a strength and conditioning aspect to this athletic department," said Bowen. The facilities on this campus that support athletics are great, there's a rich history of athletic success, and I think the excitement that the students have here makes the environment incredible.

Bowen joins the Falcons after spending a year as a strength and conditioning coach at Birmingham Southern. Prior to his time with BSC, Bowen spent five years in the Auburn University sports performance group, working with multiple programs including men's basketball, women's soccer, and swimming.

Most recently a performance coach at Godspeed Elite Sports Academy, Bowen earned his M.A. in Education at Auburn University in 2018. He graduated from Auburn with a B.S. in fitness, conditioning, and performance in 2016.
