Get ready for UMFalcons TikTok!! This week, the Falcons Athletic Communications team will be launching a departmental TikTok platform. The UMFalcon TikTok will be used by student athletes, coaches and staff to promote the program by showing the lighter side of athletics. Fans will have the opportunity to get to engage with our Falcon family and have some fun. The student athletes are excited and looking forward to it.

Back to competition...

The Falcon volleyball team opened the Gulf South Conference schedule with a pair of wins on the road. The Falcons beat Mississippi College 25-23, 25-27, 25-18, 25-21, then, completes the weekend sweep with a 25-12, 22-25, 25-12, 25-19 win over West Alabama. With the wins, the Falcons improved to 8-6 and 2-0 in the GSC. 

The men's soccer team extended their winning streak to three with a pair of wins on the road, beating Christian Brothers 1-0 on Friday night in Memphis, then shutting out Union 2-0 in Jackson, Tenn. With the wins, the Falcons improved to 6-1-1 and 3-1 in the GSC. 

Meanwhile, the women's team settled for a split over the weekend, losing to Christian Brothers 2-0, but beating Union 1-0. The Falcons improved to 3-4 overall, and 1-3 with their first win in the GSC.

The Falcons men's golf team participated in the Jay Jenison Cup in St. Augustine, Fla. on Monday and Tuesday. UM shot their way to a 3rd place finish at the event, which was hosted by Flagler University.

What's up this week?

Soccer
The Falcon women's team will be at home on Wednesday, hosting Francis Marion University. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Varsity Field. Meanwhile, the UM men's team will be on the road on Wednesday, visiting North Georgia University in Dahlonega, Ga. Game time is at 6 p.m. ET.

Volleyball
The Falcons volleyball team will head to Huntsville to face off against UAH on Friday at Spragins Hall. The match is scheduled for 6 p.m. Then, the Falcons will host Shorter University on Satudrday at 2 p.m. at Trustmark Arena.

Golf
The Falcons Women's Golf team travels to Greenwood, SC to play in the Savannah Lakes Ladies Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
