MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo women's soccer team completed an undefeated home record with a 10-0 win over Shorter on Sunday afternoon.
On senior day, the Falcons offense was unstoppable with a total of 36 shots and 23 shots on goal to go along with ten separate goal scorers. Freshman forward
Angelina Rivas scored her seventh goal of the season in the 12th minute to open the scoring.
Melanie Stevens found the back of the net for the first time this season off a pass from
Tina Palmieri in the 18th minute.
Skylar Bennett,
Madeline Milby, and
Bailey Raphelt all scored their first goals of 2022.

Abbie Vingers and
Alea Taube scored in their final regular season contest at Varsity Field while senior goalkeeper
Cassandra Bodi added a pair of saves during her 90 minutes in goal.
The Falcons' ten goals are tied for the most by a GSC team in a single game this season with the total of 30 points second among conference teams. Montevallo also recorded ten assists and 36 shots which ranks second among Gulf South teams in 2022.
