PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Montevallo women's soccer team dropped a conference matchup with West Florida, 5-1 on Sunday afternoon.
The Falcons gave up the most first-half goals this season as the Argos found the back of the net four times before the halftime break.
Montevallo fell behind early after West Florida's Blair Cowan scored twice in the first four minutes of action. The Falcons conceded two more goals before halftime. In the second half, UWF took a 5-0 lead before Madyesen Legere ended the scoring drought with a goal in the 59th minute.
