HAMPIONSGATE, Fla. – The Montevallo men's golf team posted a two-under team score in round three of the Citrus Intercollegiate to move up one spot and finish sixth, Tuesday.
Sophomore Eric Boutwell paced the Falcons with a six-under three-round total to finish tied-sixth.
Valentino Fantozzi moved up 12 spots in the final round to finish tied-eighth after carding a three-under 69 for a total of three-under 211.
The biggest move on the board Tuesday for the Falcons was a 27-spot jump for
Landon Wockenfuss as he shot a four-under 68 in the final round to finish tied-17
th with a two-under 214.
The Falcons finished tied for third after carding a 284 team score in round one but dropped to seventh with a 288 in round two. A 286 in the final round helped the Falcons climb one stop in the final standings and card a two-under 858 in the event.
Bryant Raynowska competed as an individual and finished tied-54
th with a three-round 220. He carded a 69 in the first round.
