BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference has named Miles Jackson as GSC Freshman of the Week after leading Montevallo at the Saint Leo Invitational.

Jackson posted his highest finish as a Falcon with a T-10^th placement in Dade City, Fla. with a team-best score of six-under (210) in the three-round event. In the opening 18, Jackson posted a two-under 70 that featured a total of four birdies. The Spanish Fort, Ala. native shot a bogey-free 66 (-6) in round two which tied for the second-lowest round of the tournament. Jackson's tournament finished with a round-three score of 74 (+2) to take home a top ten finish at the Saint Leo Invitational.
 
  Jackson and the Falcons will head back out onto the course on March 15-17 for the Ralph Hargett Memorial Invitational.
