Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Montevallo baseball team suffered a pair of losses falling 10-0 and 6-1 to Delta State in Sundays conference opening double header.  The Falcons slip to 12-2 and 0-2 in conference while Delta State improves to 5-5 and 2-3 in GSC competitions.

Despite putting together eight hits, the Falcons could not find a single run to help them overcome the Statesmen.  Delta State scored the first three runs of the game in the third inning, and found seven total runs during the seventh inning to seal the deal.

The Falcons offensive struggles carried over in game two with UM falling 6-1.  Just like in game one, the Statesmen scored the first three runs of the ball game.  The Falcons found a run after a Reed Latimer single to left field made way for Riley Cain to score UM's lone run.
