MONTEVALLO, Ala. --- The Montevallo women's tennis team lost to 14th-ranked West Alabama 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon. However, despite the final score, the Falcons didn't go down without a spirited effort, forcing three tiebreakers and a three set match in singles. But, in the end, the Falcons slipped to 9-8 overall and 6-4 in the Gulf South Conference, while UWA remained unbeaten in the GSC at 10-0 and improved to 16-4 overall.
Next up: The Falcons will play their final regular season match on Wednesday, welcoming Wallace State College for Senior Day. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the UM Tennis Complex.
