CALERA, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men's golf team finished the Full Moon Invitational in a tie for third place, Tuesday, after shooting a 10-over 294 in the second round.
Landon Wockenfuss led Montevallo's A-team with a three-under 68 in the final round to finish in second place individually with a four-under 138 two-round total.
Bryant Raynowska led the effort for Montevallo's B-team and was the Falcons' only other top-10 finisher. The senior turned in a one-under 70 on Monday and a one-over 72, Tuesday, to shoot an even par 142 on the week.
Valentio Fantozzi shot an even-par 71 in the first round, followed by a two-over 73 in the final round to finish tied for 12
th.
Cooper Markham was the second-highest scorer for the A-team and turned in rounds of 72 and 73 over the two-day tournament to finish tied for 14
th.
Competing as an individual,
Connor Logan, shot a three-over 145 on the week to finish tied for 14
th.
The Falcons turned in a three-over 287 in round one and finished in third place at 581 overall after posting a 10-over 294 in the final round.

- Wockenfuss' second-round 68 was the lowest score of the second round and the second lowest of the tournament.
- There were five rounds in the in the 60's on day two and only one the first day.
