MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo women's swimming team fell to Ouachita Baptist 113-35 in a dual meet, Thursday at the SAC Natatorium.
 
 
In the meet, the Falcons recorded seven podium finishes. After winning two events on Wednesday, Molly Hansen posted two second place individual finishes on Thursday while also being part of two podium-finishing relay teams. Hansen finished second in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:49.33 after a tight battle with Ouachita Baptist's Emma Ballantyne. Hansen also posted a second-place time in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:18.64. Montevallo's Beth Balent posted two third-place finishes, placing behind Hansen in both individual medley events.

The Falcons will continue four consecutive days of competition on Friday, Jan. 6, at 10:30 a.m. against Ouachita Baptist University. Head Coach Aaron Mahaney will recognize the first senior class in program history prior to Friday's meet.
