INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Montevallo men's and women's swimming teams continued competition Friday at the House of Champions, powering through another strong day in the pool. The Falcon women enter Saturday's finale with 226 points, while the men sit 11th with 342.
Keara McGee led the day with a standout performance in the 100-yard butterfly, posting times of 56.23 and 55.92, the fourth and second-fastest marks in program history. In the 200-yard freestyle, Alexandria Morgan continued her impressive meet by recording the third and fifth-best times in school history at 1:53.91 and 1:55.27.
On the men's side, Montevallo continued to rewrite the record book with multiple top-10 finishes. Edu Elizaran Galan delivered two top-five program times in the 200-yard freestyle at 1:41.52 and 1:41.67, while the 800-yard freestyle relay team of Alexander Kim, Aleksei Kolesnikov, Elizaran Galan, and Denis Popov added another top-five mark with a time of 6:58.84.
