MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Falcon women's soccer picked up a road win at Auburn Montgomery after defeating the Warhawks 3-1 on Friday night.
The Falcons struck early with a goal from the head of seasoned midfielder

Madeline Milby in the third minute of action. Montevallo's attack didn't let up with sophomore
Angelina Rivas firing a shot on goal in the 15
th minute but was turned away by the AUM keeper.
Montevallo's backline held strong with the Warhawks finding two shots midway through the first half but neither shot found the mark.

Raylene Alcaraz found the back of the net from way downtown off a beautiful header from her freshman cohort
Lainey Farabaugh with Milby setting the entire play up with a long ball down the field.
Montevallo looked to add to its lead in the closing stages of the half but four consecutive Falcon shots missed the mark, leaving UM with a 2-0 lead heading into the break.
The Falcons came out of the half on the attack with Farabaugh firing a shot on frame in the 54
th minute but was turned away by the AUM keeper.
Moments later, an AUM miscue led to Montevallo's third goal of the night, lifting Montevallo to a 3-0 advantage in the 57
th minute. With the Warhawks finding its lone goal with just seconds left, the Falcons took the game by a final score of 3-1.
