GAME NOTES
- Allie Dishman led the Falcons with 13 kills with a .632 hit percentage while adding six digs, two aces and a block.
- Colton Thompson led all players in the match with 27 assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1
- After Christian Brothers claimed a 4-1 lead, Montevallo scored four straight points to take a 5-4 lead.
- CBU tied it up with a kill then Macy Martin got the Falcons back in front with a kill.
- Tied 10-10, UM went up 16-13 highlighted by two kills from Allie Dishman and one from Morgan Hoffman, all of which were assisted by Colton Thompson.
- The Falcons gained a 21-15 advantage with big swings from Martin, Dishman, and Brooklyn Hudson.
- Four points won Montevallo the first set with three kills from Dishman down the stretch and finished off with a kill from Martin.
Set 2
- Montevallo started the second set like they ended the first by seizing a 5-1 lead highlighted by kills from Macy Martin and Kamble Frenette with an ace from Allie Dishman.
- Tied at 10-10, Montevallo took the next five out of six points to take a 15-11 lead with four kills coming during that stretch with all of them assisted by Colton Thompson.
- At 19-15, UM got hot from the court again as they took the last six out of seven points with kills from Hoffman, Dishman, Frenette and Martin.
Set 3
- Back-and-fourth till the Bucs took a 5-4 advantage, Montevallo took eight out of 10 points to take a 12-7 advantage over CBU.
- Both teams exchanged points till 17-12, then the Bucs got two kills from Calah Jackson to bring CBU within three.
- The Falcons went on a 5-1 run with all five points coming of Buccaneer errors.
- Montevallo ended the match with kills from Alex Koontz and Ellise Hanson with an ace from Kalin Duncan.
