MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo volleyball team wins on senior day as they down the Mississippi College Choctaws 3-1 on Saturday, Oct. 28.

- Allie Dishman led the Falcons with 11 kills while Macy Martin had 10 for the Falcons.
- Colton Thompson had 22 assists, 12 digs, five kills, two aces and two total blocks.
- The Falcons hit at a .261 clip which is tied for their second highest of the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1
- With the Falcons up 4-3, Montevallo took the next two points with an ace from Kalin Duncan and a kill from Morgan Hoffman.
- After two Choctaw points, UM went on a 6-1 run which included multiple kills from Morgan Hoffman, a kill from Macy Martin and miscues on the Choctaws.
- Down 11-15, Mississippi College went on a run of their as they came within one while Montevallo led 16-15.
- The Falcons took the next six out of eight points highlighted by kills from Kamble Frenette, Morgan Hoffman, Colton Thompson and Allie Dishman with an ace from Kalin Duncan.
- Montevallo finished the set with three consecutive errors by the Choctaws.
Set 2
- Tied at 5-5, took the lead at 8-7 with two kills and an ace.
- The Falcons took the next three points then both teams traded multiple two-point swings to make it 12-12.
- After UM took the lead at 17-14, Mississippi College caught fire and took seven straight points.
- The Choctaws took the set by taking the last four out of six points.

Set 4
- The Falcons claimed the early lead with a kill and ace from Allie Dishman.
- The Choctaws responded with three straight points on three kills to tie the set at 4-4.
- Montevallo took the next 12 out of 15 points highlighted by kills from Colton Thompson, Macy Martin and Kamble Frenette.
- Mississippi College got hot from the floor as they won the next 12 out of 16 points to make it 20-17 advantage Montevallo.
- The Falcons closed out the Choctaws by winning the last five out of six points to take the match.
