MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo men's tennis team moved to 2-2 in conference play with a dominant 6-1 win over Christian Brothers on Saturday. 
 
Montevallo's day started with a sweep of the doubles matches to take the point and a 1-0 lead into singles play. Philippe Zehender and Fabricio Sosa got the day started with a 6-2 win in the No. 1 singles slot before Viktor Ek Johansson and Nick Hartmann posted a 6-4 win. Dylan Kamel and Paul Sobich capped doubles play with a 7-5 victory over CBU's No. 2 pairing. 
 
 
Zeheneder handled the No. 1 singles match with a 7-5, 6-2 win to score the Falcons second point of the day. Freshmen Sobich and Sosa posted dominant wins in their matches with 6-1, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-2 scores, respectively. Julius Ziebart's 5-7, 6-2, 6-2 win scored Montevallo's sixth point of the day to give the Falcons a 6-1 team victory. 
 
UP NEXT: Montevallo continues conference play with a road trip to No. 6 Valdosta State on Friday, March 17.
