MONTEVALLO, Ala. - UM's Valorant team started their first season out strong winning map one with a final round score of 13-6. Map two was close with USCA winning 9-13. The decider map was intense as the score remained tight the entire way. At the very end, USCA pulled ahead and won 10-13.

Lander opened with a 1-2 win, but Montevallo responded with a 1-0 and a strong defensive game. Game three ended with Montevallo putting a 6^th point on the board with 0 seconds left on the clock, they won with a decisive 6-2 final score. Lander responded during the fourth game, winning 0-2. Each team had put on quite a show that would be concluded during game five. Montevallo scores an early point, taking a quick lead. Lander immediately responded by putting another point on the board. Montevallo answered by putting one more point up, which ultimately sealed their victory as the two teams clashed in a back and forth for the remaining 4 minutes. The final score of the decider was 2-1.
