MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men's and women's swimming teams are set for their tri-meet against Berry College and Emmanuel University on Saturday, Oct. 19. The meet will take place on the campus of Emmanuel in Franklin Springs, Ga.
 
The men's team is 2-0 against Berry as they defeated the Vikings twice last season. The men's squad is 0-1 against Emmanuel in their short history as the Lions won against the Falcons 97-165. The women's team is 2-0 against berry as they picked up two victories over the Vikings in the 2023-24 season. Like the men's team, Emmanuel beat Montevallo women's team last season.
 
Last weekend, Enrique Llorens swam the fifth fastest time in UM program history with a time of 55.37 in the 100 IM. Llorens notched another first-place finish in the 100 breast with a time of 1:00.74. Petra Cajkas led the Falcons with three individual first-place finishes including the 50 back, 100 back and 100 IM.
