CLEVELAND, Miss. - The University of Montevallo men's and women's swimming teams complete day one of the New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference Championships on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
The women's team competed in the 800 yard free relay where they placed in fifth and 11th. The tandem of
Maja Krawczyk,
Cypris Wilkinson, Isa C Duarte and
Petra Cajkas swam a time of 7:54.60. The relay team of
Liz Davis,
Beth Balent, Madison Burum and
Emily Sauer came in with a time of 8:03.75.
The men's team also competed in the 800 yard relay where they finished in fourth and 11th place.
Will Mahone,
Parker Bell,
Connor Daigle and
Jack Rodgers swam a time of 6:52.25. The relay team of
Ethan Brewer,
Jimmy Franck, Enrique Sigurdsson and
Harrison Dorsey came in with a time of 6:59.32.
