MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men's golf team will compete in its third spring tournament of the season on Monday, Mar. 4 and Tuesday, Mar. 5 in Cleveland, Miss.
 
The Falcons will play two rounds at the Cleveland Country Club in the Derrall Foreman Invitational, hosted by Delta State University.
 
The Montevallo men have played in two tournaments so far in the 2024 season and have finished in ninth twice. UM comes into March 12^th in the South Region while they are the fifth highest Gulf South Conference team behind Lee, West Florida, Shorter and Union. Montevallo is ranked 66^th nationally.
 
Eric Boutwell comes in ranked 75^th in the nation and 13^th in the region by Clippd.com with an average of 71 strokes a round. Boutwell was +2 with 218 shots fired in the Saint Leo Invitational. Harrison Hughston is coming of the Saint Leo Invitational where he shot three under for the invitational. The graduate student is ranked 51^st in the region with an average score of 73 a round.
