MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo women's tennis fell to 1-3 in Gulf South Conference play after a 6-1 loss to Valdosta State, Wednesday, in Montevallo, Alabama.
Valdosta State opened the match with wins in all three doubles matches to take the point.
Liesolette Hartlohner earned the lone point for the Falcons in singles play as she won 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, over Poborilova Aneta in the No. 3 match. She is now 5-2 overall on the year.
In the No. 1 spot,
Klara Podskubkova battled with Natalie Rainke but came up just short, 6-4, 1-6, 1-6.
Montevallo returns to the courts on Thursday, Mar. 14, at home against West Georgia at 2 p.m.
