MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo women's tennis added a fifth win of the season with a dominant 6-0 win over Spring Hill on Tuesday afternoon.
Montevallo took the doubles point with a 7-5 win from
Klara Podskubkova and Lieselotte Hartlohner in the top match before
Latizia Bojara and
Johanna Kullman secure the point with a 6-2 win in the No. 2 match.
London Breedlove and
Gabriella De Jesus capped the doubles matches with a 6-1 win in the third and final match.
The Falcons dominated the singles points with each of the five matches won by a Falcon in straight sets. Freshman
Claire Jaramba tallied a 6-0, 6-2, win in the No. 1 match while Hartlohner added a 6-0, 6-1 win in the second match.
London Breedlove secured Montevallo's team victory with a 6-0, 6-1 win in the No. 3 match before
Erika Freire added a 6-4, 6-0 win to the scoreboard. Finally, De Jesus took the final singles match 7-5, 6-2.
Montevallo heads to Rome, Ga. for a meeting with Shorter on Wednesday, March 20 at 1 p.m.
