CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Montevallo women's tennis took down Lee, 4-3, on the road in one of the final Gulf South Conference matches of the season.
Lee took a 1-0 lead on the team scoreboard after taking the doubles point despite a 6-4 win from
Claire Jaramba and
Greta Vagnini in the No. 3 match.
Jaramba scored the Falcons first point of the day after earning a 3-6, 6-0, 7-6 win in the second singles match. Lieselotte Hartlohner added another victory with a 6-2, 6-7, 7-6 win in the third singles match before
London Breedlove scored the third point with a 6-4, 6-3 victory.
Johanna Kullman secured the Falcons' victory with a 6-2, 6-3 win in the No. 6 singles match.
Montevallo will play the penultimate match of the regular season against West Alabama at 2 p.m. on April 9.
