SEWANEE, Tenn. — The University of Montevallo men's and women's swimming teams opened the 2025–26 season with a strong showing at the Sewanee Relays on Saturday. Both the Falcon men and women placed third in the team standings, with the women tallying 82 points and the men finishing with 90.

Sophomore Alexandria Morgan highlighted the women's performance by recording a B-cut time of 5:03.35 in the 500-yard freestyle, while freshman Denis Popov made an impressive Falcon debut with three podium finishes on the men's side.
