Spring Hill took the opening set 25-21 despite a strong start from Montevallo's front line. The Falcons quickly erased an early deficit behind kills from Maggie McColley and Eliza Tyrrell, pulling even midway through the frame. The two teams traded points the rest of the way, but a late Badger surge secured the set for the hosts.

In the second set, Montevallo struggled to find an offensive rhythm as Spring Hill built a lead at the midway point and never looked back. Tyrrell and Ellise Hanson provided sparks for the Falcons, but the Badgers' attack proved efficient in a 25-16 result that gave them a 2-0 advantage.

The Falcons answered in the third, controlling play from the first serve. Ava Wind sparked a scoring run with back-to-back aces as Montevallo jumped out to a commanding 14-6 advantage. The lead grew to as many as 13 before the Falcons cruised to a 25-15 win to stay alive.

The fourth set proved to be a thriller with multiple lead changes throughout. Montevallo's balanced attack built a 24-20 lead before Spring Hill rallied with six straight points to take the set 26-24 and secure the 3-1 match victory.
