CLINTON, Miss. – Montevallo women's soccer took its first draw of the season in a 0-0 tie on the road at Mississippi College on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Montevallo came out strong with a trio of shots on goal from Bear Bradbury, Batie Casey and Morgan Goehring in the first ten minutes of action but each was denied by the MC keeper. In the 27^th minute, Sierra Nickelberry added another UM shot on goal just under a minute before Ayla Ertekin tallied another shot on frame. Goehring added another dangerous shot from UM in the 33^rd minute but was denied yet again. Bradbury ended the half with a shot on frame in the 42^nd minute to send the game to the half in a 0-0 tie.
 
Neither side found a shot on target in the first 20 minutes of the second half before Ciara Duff made her first save of the night in the 70^th minute. The junior keeper then added her second save of the game just four minutes later. In the 78^th minute, Tessa Harrington looked to break the tie but was turned aside by MC's defense. The Falcons' final save of the game came in the 80^th minute. MC saw one final chance in the 89^th minute but the shot careened off the woodwork to end the game in a 0-0 draw.

• The Falcons outshot MC on the day with a 19-11 advantage in shots and an 8-3 lead in shots on goal.
• Montevallo won a total of eight corner kicks on the day while holding the Lady Choctaws to just one.
• Bear Bradbury led Montevallo's attack with three shots and two shots on goal while Morgan Goehring fired a pair of shots with one on frame.
• Ciara Duff remains unbeaten in goal with her fifth clean sheet of the season in five starts.
