PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Montevallo women's swimming team battled hard on the road Saturday in a tri-meet against No. 7 West Florida and UTRGV. The Falcons turned in multiple strong individual efforts, highlighted by several podium finishes.
UM fell 175-94 to the host Argonauts and 178-110 to UTRGV, but several Falcons posted season-best times and top-five placements. Senior Keara McGee led the way with two event wins, capturing first place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 56.68, the fourth-fastest in program history, and in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:09.95, the 10th-fastest mark in school history.
