MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo men's golf opens the 2025 spring schedule with a trip to Lakeland, Fla. to compete in the Matlock Classic hosted by Florida Southern on Feb. 10-11.
 
Montevallo's first tournament in 2025 comes after the Falcons competed in four tournaments during the fall semester with a team win, two fifth place finishes and a seventh-place finish. The Falcons tallied the lone team win at the Full Moon Invitational to open the season on Sept. 9-10 before adding fifth place finishes at the Turtle Point Invite hosted by North Alabama and the Citrus Intercollegiate to close the fall slate.
 
Montevallo is led by Eric Boutwell who ranks fifth in the nation in the Clippd.com national individual rankings and first in the region with an adjusted scoring average of 69.4 with one win and two top three finishes in the fall season.
