DICKSON, Tenn. – Montevallo men's golf finished ninth at the 2026 Gulf South Conference Men's Golf Championship after posting a three-round score of 48-over with
Miles Miller taking Montevallo's top individual finish.
Montevallo's opening round saw the Falcons finish ninth with a total score of 23-over and a total of five birdies in the first 18 holes. The Falcons added a second-round score of 11-over (299) with a tournament-high 12 birdies on the second day of action. Montevallo closed the week with a final-round score of 14-over (302) while adding 11 birdies in the closing stages of the tournament.
Miles Miller took Montevallo's top finish of the week with a total score of nine-over (225) for a 29
th place finish. The sophomore tallied a first-round score of 76 (+4) before dropping a stroke in round two with a score of 75 (+3). Miller finished the championship with his lowest score of the tournament at 74 (+2) with a pair of birdies. Senior
Seth Rogers finished with a score of 15-over (231) for a 35
th place finish after shooting 78 (+6) in round one before carding his low round of the week with a four-over 76 in round two. Rogers closed the week with a pair of birdies in a final-round 77 (+5). Freshman Brant Cartman added a score of 16-over at Greystone Golf Club with a round-one score of 79 (+7) before shooting 77 (+5) in round two and carding a pair of birdies in round three for a four-over 76.
Bentley Van Pelt rounded out Montevallo's scores with a total score of 18-over after shooting rounds of 78 (+6), 79 (+7) and 77 (+5).
