CLEVELAND, Ohio –
The 2024-25 Learfield Directors' Cup final standings have been released, with the University of Montevallo earning its highest finish in program history.
The Falcons' 144th place finish in the NCAA Division II overall standings is the highest in school history, surpassing 177th last season.

Montevallo garnered 132 total points this year. Women's soccer's run to the Sweet Sixteen and Regional Final earned 64 total points in the fall. In the winter session, Men's Basketball's trip to the NCAA South Region earned 25 points while Aleksei Kolesnikov's performance at the NCAA National Championships added 43 more points to UM's total.

The Falcons were one 10 Gulf South Conference schools named in the final rankings. Montevallo finished ranked seventh among the GSC programs and finished ahead of AUM, Union and West Alabama.

The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships. Overall, 15 sports are counted in the final DII standings, four of which must be women's volleyball and basketball and men's basketball and baseball. The next highest (11 max.) sports scored for each institution, regardless of gender, are used in the standings.
