MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The College Sports Communicators have announced the 2025 Div. II Academic All-District teams with Montevallo's Garrett Sloan and Evan Radford earning the academic honor.

Sloan, a graduate right-hander, earned his first career CSC Academic All-District selection after a season that saw the Albany, Ga. native led the Gulf South Conference with 11 saves to set a new Montevallo record. In his 19 appearances, Sloan threw a total of 33.2 innings and posted a WHIP of 1.60 while allowing just a .295 opponent batting average. On Feb. 14, 2025, Sloan set a season best with four strikeouts and just three hits allowed in 5.1 innings against West Florida. In the classroom, Sloan posted a 3.50 cumulative GPA in pursuit of his master's in business administration.
 
Radford, one of the Falcons' top bats in 2025, tallied the CSC Academic All-District distinction following a total of three all-region selections and an all-conference nod. In his debut season as a Falcon, the Hoover, Ala. native batted .343 with a total of 73 hits while leading the team with 16 doubles and 16 home runs. His season also saw the junior record 56 RBI and a 1.037 OPS. Off the field, Radford posted a 3.83 cumulative GPA working towards his degree in business management.
 
Radford will move on to the CSC Academic All-America voting with the All-American teams announced on Tuesday, July 1.
