Women's Basketball Releases 2025-26 Schedule

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo Women's Basketball Head Coach Olivia Chapman has released the 2025-26 schedule which includes five non-conference games and 22 conference games, along with two exhibition match ups.

The Falcons open the 2025 campaign, hosting an exhibition against Huntingdon on Friday, Oct. 24. This contest will serve as Montevallo's annual Education Day game and be held at 11:30 a.m. CST. The Falcons close the preseason with an exhibition at Samford on Monday, Nov. 3.

The regular season starts in Daytona Beach, Fla., as the Falcons face a pair of Sunshine State Conference opponents in the GSC/SSC Challenge. The Falcons face off against top-SSC contenders in Embry-Riddle (Nov. 14) and Nova Southeastern (Nov. 15).

Montevallo hosts its first regular season contest on Monday, Nov. 24, as the Falcons welcome Talladega to Central State Bank Arena. Montevallo hosts Shorter on Saturday, Nov. 29, before starting Gulf South Conference play.

The GSC slate starts on Dec. 4 and will continue with the normal Thursday-Saturday format. The Falcons open the conference schedule in Tennessee with road games against Lee (Dec. 4) and Trevecca Nazarene (Dec. 6). Montevallo follows that up with its first home conference matchups, hosting Delta State (Dec. 11) and Mississippi College (Dec. 13).

The Falcons head to Tennessee once again before the holiday break, with games at Christian Brothers (Dec. 18) and Union (Dec. 20). Montevallo closes the 2025 slate with a New Years Eve non-conference matchup against UT Southern (Dec. 31).

Montevallo opens the 2026 calendar year with three straight home contests against in-state opponents, starting with a matchup against Auburn Montgomery on Sunday, Jan. 4. The Falcons return to the regular Thursday-Saturday format that week with games against UAH (Jan. 8) and West Alabama (Jan. 10). Montevallo then heads east for a pair of road games against Valdosta State (Jan. 15) and West Florida (Jan. 17).

The month continues with home games against Trevecca Nazarene (Jan. 22) and Lee (Jan. 24), followed by road contests against Mississippi College (Jan. 29) and Delta State (Jan. 31).

Montevallo opens the month of February with home games against Union (Feb. 5) and Christian Brothers (Feb. 7), followed by road games against Auburn Montgomery (Feb. 14), West Alabama (Feb. 19), and UAH (Feb. 21).

The Falcons close the regular season at home with games on Wednesday and Friday, against West Florida (Feb. 25) and Valdosta State (Feb. 27).

The GSC Tournament starts the following week, with Super Tuesday slated for Mar. 2, followed by the Semifinals on Mar. 5 and Championship on Mar. 5. All tournament games will be hosted by the higher seed.
