2026 Falcon Victory Campaign Raises Record $232,390 from 1,069 Donors

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – For the fifth consecutive year, Montevallo Athletics ran its annual Falcon Victory campaign that broke a record set in 2025 with $232,390 raised for 1,069 donors over the week-long fundraising effort.

"This year's Falcon Victory campaign proved to be the best one yet," said Vice President for Athletics and Special Programs Mark Richard. "With the hard work of our student-athletes, coaches, and everyone in the UM Foundation office as well as the generous support from all our donors, we easily surpassed our original goal of $165,000 to set a new fundraising record. I would like to offer a special thank you to all those who chose to support Montevallo Athletics with their charitable donations and those who worked hard to make this campaign a resounding success."

From Sept. 9 through Sept. 16, the Falcon Victory campaign exceeded the record-setting 2025 campaign by more than $80,000 with nearly 300 less donors. The week-long effort began with a student-athlete text-a-thon with participation from more than 400 student-athletes that raised nearly $30,000 in just three hours.

"This year's Falcon Victory Campaign was a tremendous success, bringing together student-athletes, donors and the entire Falcon Family to support University of Montevallo Athletics like never before," said Athletics Donor Engagement Specialist Emily Watts. "Thanks to their dedication and the generosity of the Falcon Family, the campaign welcomed 1,069 donors and raised nearly $240,000 from September 9–16. Exceeding the campaign's $165,000 fundraising goal, the Falcon Family raised approximately 140% of the original goal, demonstrating the incredible impact of a community united in support of Montevallo Athletics."

With the outstanding performance of the campaign, UM Foundation awarded additional monetary prizes to the three teams that raised the most money during the 2026 Falcon Victory. Baseball took home first place with $48,974 raised and was awarded an additional $10,000 while Acrobatics and Tumbling raised $27,305 and received $5,000 for the second-most money raised. Men's Basketball was the third team to be recognized after raising $24,752 and was awarded an additional $2,500.

"We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes for their hard work, commitment and enthusiasm throughout the campaign," said Watts. "We are equally grateful to the donors and supporters who continue to invest in Montevallo Athletics and make these opportunities possible. The success of this year's campaign is a testament to the strength of the Falcon Family and what we can accomplish when we come together."

Every gift received during Falcon Victory helps to directly impact the championship experience Montevallo provides its student-athletes and provides essential resources and support for the success of UM student-athletes on and off the field.
