MONTEVALLO, Ala. - Cameron Grant has been announced as Montevallo's newest Assistant Director of Media Relations.

Cameron Grant serves as the Assistant Director for Media Relations at the University of Montevallo, following previous roles as a Communications Intern at Auburn University and a Graduate Assistant at Auburn University at Montgomery.
 

During his time at Auburn University, Grant assisted with social media and game-day coverage for the men's and women's tennis programs while also supporting fall sports. He also transcribed pregame and postgame coverage for Auburn football press conferences.

During his tenure at AUM, Grant oversaw the cross country and tennis programs. His day-to-day responsibilities included writing recaps, managing website content, producing broadcasts, creating social media and creative content, and maintaining statistics and records. He also produced the "Warhawk of the Week" segments when student-athletes earned Gulf South Conference Player of the Week honors in selected categories.

At Montevallo, Grant will oversee men's soccer, wrestling, softball, and acrobatics and tumbling. His responsibilities will include writing recaps, coordinating media coverage, managing website content, producing social media and creative content, and maintaining statistics and records.
 

Grant earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Auburn University at Montgomery in May 2023, graduating with a 3.5 GPA. While at AUM, he was a member of the National Honor Society, served as president of PRCA, and previously served as vice president of PRCA. He was honored with the Outstanding Service Award by the Department of Communications and Theatre. He then completed his master's degree in exercise science from Auburn University in August 2026, graduating with a 3.5 GPA.
 

Grant was born in Queens, New York, but was raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
