The Falcons look to bounce back after dropping a weekend series to Trevecca.
Jack Fitzgerald continued his hot start at the plate, going 6-for-10 with a double and two runs scored across the series.
Columbus State enters Tuesday's contest at 8-7 overall and 4-2 in the Peach Belt Conference. After opening the season 1-7, the Cougars have surged with seven consecutive wins, including back-to-back league sweeps of Ohio Dominican and Claflin.
Offensively, Jackson Chizek leads the way with a .488 batting average, tallying three doubles, a triple, a home run and 11 RBI. Cayden Evans (.431) and Jax Yoxtheimer (.417) have also eclipsed the 20-hit mark. As a team, CSU is hitting .324 with 35 doubles and 13 home runs.
On the mound, the Cougars carry a 6.37 team ERA into the matchup. Opponents are batting .310 against the CSU pitching staff, which has recorded 102 strikeouts through 15 games.
