Montevallo enters Tuesday's contest riding the momentum of a dramatic series win over Lee, where the Falcons secured two walk-off victories. In the opener,
Evan Radford launched a walk-off grand slam in the 10th inning to cap a seven-run comeback. In the series finale,
Hudson Allen delivered a walk-off two-run single, completing an incredible 13-run comeback in a 16-15 victory.
Shorter comes into the matchup with an 11-19 overall record, including a 3-18 mark in Conference Carolinas play. The Hawks are looking to snap a four-game losing streak after falling to Carson-Newman last Tuesday and being swept by No. 24 UNC Pembroke over the weekend.
