Montevallo looks to bounce back after dropping a road series at Union over the weekend. Despite the setback, the Falcons received strong performances from several key contributors. Hudson Allen led the way, going 7-for-13 with a double, home run, two RBI, three runs scored, and a stolen base. Caleb Karll added five hits and two RBI, while Sam Malone (3.1 IP, 5 SO) and Matthew Bullard (5.1 IP, 7 SO) turned in solid outings on the mound.

Columbus State enters Tuesday's matchup with a 27-16 overall record, including an 18-9 mark in Peach Belt Conference play. The Cougars are hitting .309 as a team, paced by Jackson Chizek (.401) and Jax Yoxtheimer (.384). Yoxtheimer leads the team with 18 doubles, three triples, five home runs, and 31 RBI.

On the mound, Columbus State carries a 5.25 team ERA with 282 strikeouts. The Cougars are expected to start right-hander Nathan Webb (3-0, 4.94 ERA), who has thrown 6.0 innings in each of their last two midweek outings.

Tuesday's game will also feature $1 hot dogs as part of the Johnny Holsombeck Cookout. Prior to first pitch, Johnny's brother, Montevallo assistant softball coach Ronnie Holsombeck, along with his sister, Cindy Holsombeck, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. They will also be presented with a check for the Johnny Holsombeck Endowment Fund, which supports future cookouts for Montevallo student-athletes.
