DICKSON, Tenn. – Montevallo women's golf took home a third-place finish at the 2026 Gulf South Conference Women's Golf Championship for the second time in the last three season while adding a pair of individual finishes in the top 10.
The Falcons tallied its top-three finish with a total score of 47-over across the three-round event. In the first round, Montevallo was fifth after the first 18 holes with score of 22-over (310) with seven birdies before rocketing up the leaderboard to second with its lowest round of the week after a 12-over 300 that featured 11 birdies. The Falcons closed the week with a 13-over 301 in the final round with a total of 10 birdies to secure the third-place finish.
Angelina Oliveri posted Montevallo's top finish of the week with a third-place individual finish after carding a score of seven-over. In the opening round, Oliveri tallied a score of 79 (+7) with three birdies before shooting an even-par 72 in round two with a tournament-best four birdies. The sophomore finished the tournament with another even-par 72 to climb three spots up the leaderboard for a third-place finish. Francesca De Roover tallied Montevallo's second top 10 finish with a 10
th place mark of 12-over. The senior posted a score of 74 (+2) in round one before carding a four-over 76 in round two. De Roover closed the week with a final-round score of 78 (+6).
Polly McCrackin finished 16
th on the week with a score of 16-over with a round one 80 (+8) before carding a round two 77 (+5) while adding her best round of the tournament with four birdies for a final round 75 (+3).
Juliette Daviau added a 19
th place finish with a score of 17-over while
Ainoa Ruiz rounded out Montevallo's scores with a 20-over total score for a No. 21 finish.
