Montevallo enters the weekend looking to secure its fourth consecutive conference series victory after taking series wins over Valdosta State, Lee, and Delta State in the past three weeks. The Falcons claimed two of three games against the Statesmen on the road last weekend, highlighted by a complete-game shutout from Zach Wyatt in the opener and a 13-run offensive outburst in Game 2. Wyatt earned both Gulf South Conference Pitcher of the Week and NCBWA South Region Pitcher of the Week honors for his performance.

Christian Brothers comes into the series with a 10-27 overall record and a 5-19 mark in conference play. The Buccaneers dropped two of three games to Mississippi College last weekend before falling to Arkansas Tech in a midweek matchup.

Offensively, Isaac Lemanski leads CBU with a .336 batting average, totaling 44 hits, eight doubles, one home run, and 17 RBIs. As a team, the Buccaneers are hitting .267 on the season.

On the mound, Christian Brothers holds a 7.96 team ERA with a 2.04 WHIP and 238 strikeouts. Right-hander Kade Johnson (2-2, 6.62 ERA) is expected to start Friday's opener, followed by Charlie Faoro (1-3, 8.24 ERA) in Game 2. Junior Cameron Olivo (0-6, 6.95 ERA) is slated to take the ball in Saturday's series finale.
