LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association has announced its 2026 All-South Region teams with four Falcons earning the regional recognition.

Alex Egorshin earned Montevallo's lone First Team All-Region selection while
Matthew Boas earned a Third Team selection.
John Morris and
Brandon Shaffner round out Montevallo's selections as Honorable Mention honorees.
Egorshin, a USA Lacrosse Magazine All-America honorable mention, earned the Peach Belt Conference's Goalkeeper of the Year award after posting a .600 save percentage for the fourth-highest mark in Div. II while adding an average of 15.88 saves per game for the third best mark in the nation. The Hoover, Ala. native added a goals against average of 11.69 to lead the PBC.
Boas, another USA Lacrosse Magazine All-America honorable mention, was named PBC Attackman of the Year after lead in the conference with 78 total points to rank 17
th among Div. II leaders. The senior attackman recorded a PBC leading 53 goals while adding a total of 25 assists to rank third in the league. The Nanaimo, B.C., Canada native tallied a total of five man-up goals while adding a game-winner and a total of 27 ground balls in 2026.
Shaffner, the Falcons' third All-America honorable mention selection, posted the nation's 10
th highest faceoff win percentage at .654 to lead the PBC. The Louisville, Ky. native added a 170-for-260 mar on faceoffs while leading the conference with a total of 96 ground balls on the season. The senior faceoff specialist posted a season-best 14 faceoff wins on a pair of occasions during the 2026 campaign.
Morris earned his first career all-region selection after a 2026 season that saw the junior earn a First Team All-PBC selection. The Livonia, Mich. Native tallied a total of eight points on the season with a pair of goals and six assists while added a total of 45 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers. Morris posted a career-best six ground balls in Montevallo's win over UAH on April 4 with adding a season-high mark of three caused turnovers twice in his junior season.
