GREENWOOD, Ind. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2026 NCAA Division II Baseball Academic All-District Teams on Tuesday, with Ian Cartwright, Hudson Allen, Evan Radford, and Matthew Birdsong all earning recognition.

Cartwright earned the honor following a strong sophomore season as the Falcons' primary center fielder. The business management major hit .301 with 10 doubles, a team-high three triples, four home runs, and 23 RBI across 45 starts while maintaining a 3.50 cumulative GPA.

Allen was also recognized after posting a 3.74 cumulative GPA as a management major. The sophomore second baseman hit .303 with 12 doubles, four home runs, and 21 RBI, earning All-GSC Second Team honors along the way.

Radford collected his second consecutive Academic All-District selection after compiling a 3.79 GPA in business management. The senior designated hitter batted .249 with seven doubles, 10 home runs, and 44 RBI. His 26 career home runs rank eighth in the program's NCAA era.

Birdsong earned the honor after a strong season out of the bullpen while maintaining a 3.64 cumulative GPA. The political science major appeared in 18 relief outings, posting a 5.40 ERA over 18.1 innings with 16 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .271 batting average.
