MEMPHIS, TENN. – Montevallo women's soccer posted its second-consecutive shutout in a 4-0 win over Christian Brothers on the road behind a pair of goals from
Elise Marquardt.
After the Falcons won a pair of corners in the early minutes, Montevallo took a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute with a CBU own goal. After a pair of UM shots on goal in the next 20 minutes,
Jolie Cazale tallied her first save of the night. After a second Cazale save, Marquardt tallied her first of the night off an assist from Sierra Nickleberry to give UM a 2-0 lead in the 39
th minute. Just four minutes later, Marquardt scored her second of the night to send the game to the half with a 3-0 UM lead.
The second half saw Montevallo fire four shots on goal in the first 13 minutes before a second CBU own goal lifted Montevallo to its 4-0 advantage. Montevallo added another pair of shots on goal before Cazale notched a trio of back-to-back saves to secure UM's second clean sheet of the season.

- Montevallo's 4-0 win marked the second-straight clean sheet for the Falcons while holding CBU to just eight shots with five on goal.
- The Falcons won a total of 16 corners on the night with just two given to the Lady Bucs.
- Elise Marquardt tallied a pair of goals on two shots to lead Montevallo's attack in her collegiate scoring debut.
