MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS
  • Montevallo scored five of their nine runs in the bottom of the sixth inning on a two-run home run from John Michael Reed and another two-run home run from Tyler Krabbe that pushed across four of the five runs.
  • Cas Silber provided six solid innings after getting the start to push his record to (2-1) and recorded 11 strikeouts.
  • The Falcons recorded 13 hits which is their second-highest hit total of the season.

  • John Michael Reed started the scoring in the sixth inning with a long two-run homer to left field
  • Tyler Krabbe knocked in two of his own on a homer to left center.
  • Kale Lattore shut the door for the Falcons with a two-inning save.
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Falcons struck first when Blake Devine doubled to center field and scored Jack Gallagher in the third inning.
  • The Falcons followed with runs in the fourth and fifth on a wild pitch and a fielder's choice.
  • Brady Phaadt hit a solo home run in the top of the sixth to pull the Knights within two runs of the lead. 
  • John Michael Reed hit a two-run home run to start the scoring in the bottom of the sixth and later Krabbe hit a two-run homer to push the lead to 8-1.
  • Zac Wiley hit a three-run home run to cut the Falcon's lead to 8-5.
  • After a Caleb Ledbetter home run and two runs from the Knights in the eighth, Kale Latorre came in to shut the door for the Falcons.
